Today I will be blogging about one of my big time favourite korean restaurant and it is none other than kkongdon barbeque restaurant.

Prices are rather affordable and food is really fresh and tasty.

A suction will be turned on while you dine and this reduces the odour left as you grill your meat products. Really innovative idea!

Waxing tips

Today I will sharing waxing tips as well as an effective post waxing product.

1. 5-6 weeks will be the appropriate length for waxing.
2.  Waxing won't itch as much as shaving.
3. Waxing last longer than shaving does.
4. Go to a reputable waxing parlour such as PINKPARLOUR where I always go.
5. Make sure they don't double dip at all times.
6. Try to get ingrown eliminating pads as well as tea tree oil to moisturize after wax. It is important otherwise it will itch if area is dry.
Get them @ Sephora / online.

7. Waxing duration is fast, takes only 3-5 minutes for a professional to finish their job.
8. Try to get a parlour with showering facilities so that you are all prepped up for the treatment.
9. Check review for top parlour before booking (for first timers).
10. Don't have to feel awkward since they are trained professionals.
11. Try to exfoliate the area to rid dead skin etc before waxing.
12. If budget is not a problem, try IPL instead.

Secrets to maintain acne free skin

Today I will share the secrets of how to achieve a flawless face.

1. Knowing your skin type.
Combination, dry, oily, sensitive? You have to know your skin type in order to get the right products available in the market for your face.

2. Apply minimal makeup daily and don't forget to remove them with a hydrating makeup remover.
Try loose powder if you experience acne. In humid weather, stay away from cream applications as it might clog your pores. Give those pores a chance to breathe otherwise pimples are coming to greet you.

3. Always wash your sponges at least a week. Otherwise try disposable sponges can get them at Daiso for 2 bucks.

4. When purchasing a product, always do a test in your inner arm to test for allergy. You might not know what happen, so don't risk it.

5. Try to use green clay mask since it revitalise your skin and leave a healthy glow. Apply it at least twice a week and use warm water to remove it. I prefer natural mask, can try organic skincare products.

7. Use at least SPF 50 sunblock daily even indoors. PS: I use SPF 300 when I am outdoors swimming.

8. Exfoliate and use body scrub to rid dirt, impurities at least twice a week.

Stay tuned for more tips with my wellness programme. TGIF guys and have a great weekend ahead.

How to treat acne

Rules of dealing with acne

1. Never squeeze them
2. Use a mild cleanser/facial wash for blemish prone skin
I am using Avene cleanance gel retail in watsons, guardian and leading pharmacies
3. Try to go to bed in between 10pm - 2am when our skin cells get repaired and requires adequate rest to do so.
4. Acne creams are really strong and I don't really advise using them. Unless if you have a photoshoot tomorrow and need it to heal overnight. Try acne clear retailing in Watsons for less than 7 bucks. Try applying them to your face with a Q-tip, aim well so that your face won't get dry patches.
5. Do not use harsh facial products on your face.
6. It would be better if you don't apply makeup.
7. Use a mild toner and hydrating moisturiser. Plenty of moisturiser in the event if you use acne cream since they will dry up your face.
Products I am using:

Hada Labo hydrating moisturising cream
Simple toner

Products can be found in Watsons and leading pharmacies. Even thou it is a drugstore brand but they are imported from Japan and UK respectively.

8. Have fruits that are high in vitamin C such as oranges, lemon and kiwis. Have them before meals so as to attain maximum absorption by the body.

Secret of fading pimple scars

Do you wanna know the secrets of fading acne and how to treat them?
Stay tuned to my blog as I share secrets on how to rid/fade them without leaving scars.

Skin type: sensitive

16 June

My skin type: Sensitive
Please take note that each individual skin type actually differs and what works for me might not work for you and vice versa.

What I bought:
Sensitive skin facial wash(Avene brand). Pimple cream, organic mask, organic cream cleanser, organic aloe vera gel for blemish skin.

First few days I apply hydrating moisturiser, organic mask to force those dirt and bacteria that had been trapped in my pores to show up and they will appear as "Pus".

I will then use pimple cream to get rid of those pus and apply organic aloe vera gel only on those spots and moisturiser for my entire face except eye area, since pimple creams will always dries up your skin. This is the stage where you don't use toners.

I did not apply makeup on those pimple spots but if you do I encourage using loose powder instead.
I would then use my organic cream cleanser to clean my face instead of makeup remover wipes. The organic cream cleanser can be use as a facial wash or even makeup remover. So awesome!  I prefer nature products as I have sensitive skin.

REVIEW OF 14 DAYS TEATOX PROGRAMME BY SKINNYMINT

This will be the two types of package you guys will received.
14 tea packs of morning boost, 7 tea packs of night cleanse.

Morning boost
Smell: Floral and fruity
Taste: Mild flavour

My comments:
I do feel really energetic after consuming morning boost.  Consumers can replace coffee with this tea. As per from the website of skinny mint, consumers have to consume the products before or during breakfast with adequate amount of exercise and balanced diet, actually helps one to enjoy the maximum effect from this programme.

Night cleanse
Smell: Earthy
Taste: Slight lemon flavour

Reasons to why should we detox?
Our body should undergo detoxification to clear out toxins and excess oils we had in our body.
Ingredients such as Psyllium Husk also helps to lower blood cholesterol and promotes colon health. Night cleanse also helps to prevent bloating and can be consumed as we binge/indulge in heavy meals.

My comments:
Indeed the night cleanse does work... I would say it does cleanse your bowels.
So stay away from unhealthy food, I am sure the tea will flush those toxins out from your body.

Skinnymint is indeed amazing, it forces you to have a healthy balanced diet, supply you with energy to cope with the day and cleanse your body making it ready while you sleep for the next day.

When I say it helps to cleanse your body it means you do go toilet. I would not say it is diarrhoea but more to cleanse your bowels.
